As of October 1st, 2018, Maggie Taylor's limited edition books will go up in price. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland with the small print of “These Strange Adventures” will go from a price of $950 to $1200. The regular edition of this book is still available from the University Press of Florida but is in very short supply and will soon be sold out.
No Ordinary Days, her 2013 monograph containing 120 images from 1998 to 2012, has a limited edition in a blue/gray silk box with a leather label on the spine and a choice of one of two images for the 8x8 inch print inside. The two images to select from are “The Moth House” and “Moving On.” This book is also dwindling at the University Press of Florida and will be sold out soon. The limited edition will go from $950 to $1200 on October 1st.
The newest limited edition, Through the Looking-glass, will see a price increase from $800 to $950. Each of these comes in a dark brown cloth-covered box with a foil stamped chess board on the cover, and an 8x8 inch print of the image on the back cover of the book, “And What Alice Found There” (pictured below). This images depicts Alice in the Looking-glass world, accompanied by Humpty Dumpty and the Jabberwock monster; looking over her shoulder and back through the mirror the viewer catches a glimpse of the real world and the oriel window at Lacock Abbey.
