Heidi Vaughan Fine Art and the Houston Art Gallery Association (HAGA) are pleased to present an art appraisal talk on Tuesday, October 18th, from 6pm to 7pm at Heidi Vaughan Fine Art. The talk, "Ten Factors that Contribute to Value in Works of Art", will be given by Heidi Vaughan, who is a credentialed fine art appraiser with the International Society of Appraisers. This event is part of the Houston Art Gallery Association’s ongoing speaker series and is offered free to the public.
Art pricing, and the ability for art to hold value over time, is a fascinating subject. Heidi will be discussing this and more in the upcoming talk. As a fine art appraiser, Heidi has consulted on thousands of works of art and fine art objects from corporate, institutional, and private clients. She will be talking about ten factors that contribute to value in art. She also will offer anecdotes from her experiences as a fine art appraiser and answer questions about the subject.
The public is kindly asked not to bring works of art to the gallery for evaluation during the event.
