Deck the Walls Book Signing Event

Deck the Walls is an annual group exhibition of vintage and contemporary pieces that allows Catherine Couturier Gallery to showcase a variety of artists, prices ranges, styles, and photographic mediums. 

This year, in conjucntion with the show, we are pleased to be hosting a book signing for Pulitzer Prize winning cartoonist, Nick Anderson and gallery artist Henry Horenstein.

About the Artists:

Nick Anderson is the cartoonist of record for the Houston Chronicle. In 2005, he won the Pulitzer Prize. In additon his cartoons have been published in Newsweek, the New York Times, the Washington Post, USA Today, and the Chicago Tribune among many others. He will be signing his latest book You Might be from Texas If... which is a comical collection of cartoons which poke fun at the unique lifestyle of living life as a Texan.

Additionally, gallery artist and documentary photographer Henry Horenstein will be signing his photo book monograph titled Histories: Tales From the 70’s, and his most recent autobiography "Shoot What You Love" which will be available for purchase on November 22, 2016. Henry Horenstein has been a professional photographer, author, and teacher since the 1970's. Currently based in Boston, his work has been exhibited internationally, and has been used by educators in schools, colleges and universities to introduce thousands of students into the world photography.

The opening reception and book signing will take place on Saturday, December 3, 5-7pm. We hope to see you there!
