FLATS Lab: A Houston Community Darkroom

FLATS Lab

In July 2019, FLATS Lab, a film developing service, opened in Houston to serve our local photography community. For the past seven months, the FLATS Lab was operated out of the owner's home. After receiving notice from the landlord to stop operations, FLATS Lab will move to a storefront location (2402 Montrose Blvd) starting March 1st. The growth and transition was unexpected and quick and they are looking for a little help financially. Please consider donating to their GoFundMe to help them expand and continue to serve the Houston photography community.

In addition to monetary donations, FLATS is on the lookout for any darkroom equipment that is in good working condition including tanks, trays, reels, enlargers, enlarging easels, sinks, jobo, jobo tanks and reels, and Epson Scanners (V700 or newer).

Learn more about FLATS by visiting their website.
